Job Title: Producer, Feature Content

Department: Production

Reports To: Senior Manager of Production

FLSA Status: Full Time; Exempt

Role Summary

The Seattle Seahawks are looking for a creative leader to join the SEA-Level Studios Production Team. The Producer, Feature Content will serve as one of the lead cinematographers and editors of long-form video content including documentaries, feature interviews and behind-the-scenes content. The Producer, Feature Content must possess an expert-level understanding of camera operation, lighting design, and post-production workflows in an effort to maintain SEA-Level Studio Production standards. Outside of technical skills, the Producer, Feature Content must relate to interview subjects approaching each shoot with a story-first mentality that is rooted in authenticity while maximizing emotional impact, visual excellence and narrative clarity.

Responsibilities

  • The Producer, Feature Content will bring Seahawks stories to our fans using their creativity, drive, technical ability and the magic of their lens
  • Be the lead cinematographer for everything in and around our team; gamedays, practices, press conferences, community and marketing events, sponsored content and both in-studio and remote shoots
  • Assist in the development of part-time employees and interns as needed and, on a project-to-project basis
  • Work in conjunction with long-form content creators to spearhead and lead cinematic video pre and post production efforts
  • Be the lead editor for long-form storytelling projects, features and shows
  • Be the lead producer on football driven content with an aim to maximize access and foster authentic storytelling
  • Establish and maintain excellent, respectful working relationships with coaches, players and front office staff
  • Collaborate with Public Relations and Football Operations to cover and drive storytelling surrounding key events
  • Able to be trusted by various stakeholders around highly sensitive information and maintain the utmost confidentiality
  • Be a critical thinker who can anticipate and solve problems
  • Work with vendors to maintain our relationships and secure and return shipments of rentals and demo equipment
  • Assist with the planning and logistical aspects of gear allocation for various shoots and home/away games

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Must have 3-5 years of video production experience including but not limited to camera operation, editing, writing, set lighting, design
  • Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with ARRI and Sony camera gear is a plus
  • Must be a leader, teacher and motivator with high emotional intelligence
  • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational, creative and multi-tasking instincts in addition to a can-do attitude
  • Extensive knowledge of the production process, from content ideation, through pre-production, production, post-production and delivery
  • Ability to stay calm and troubleshoot under pressure and actively seek solutions
  • Previous NFL or football experience is a plus
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays and gamedays
  • Must be able to travel to all events as needed

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The salary range for this position is: $78,000 – $85,000. The salary range applies to the current posting. The posted salary range may vary based on key factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related knowledge, experience and skill set.
