Job summary

VERSANT Media seeks an experienced CNBC Producer to create, produce and supervise segments for Fast Money and ETF Edge. You will help shape editorial vision, write and produce segments, and collaborate with executive producers, anchors and cross‑department teams.

This on‑site role in Englewood Cliffs provides a path to impacting daily financial news coverage with a strong production focus and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of Editorial experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
• Strong understanding of the markets and prior experience at a financial news network.
• Experience working with anchors & senior management on shows and across departments.
• Possess ability to develop story ideas, research, and plan segments.
• Strong writing skills.
• Sound journalistic judgment.
• Strong time management skills.

CNBC is looking for an experienced Producer to be responsible for creating, producing, and supervising segments. In this role, you will be an integral part of covering the most significant financial news stories of the day. This position is on the show "Fast Money". This producer will also be a key contributor in the weekly TV & Digital production of "ETF Edge".

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the editorial vision of the show each day, including suggesting stories and guests for the show
• Write and produce segments
• Work closely with EP, Sr. Producer & Anchor on stories & bookings.
• Ability to work with desk & across departments on show logistics & segment execution
• Become involved in planning process
• Be in control room for live broadcast
• Work with EP & Sr. Producer on social media efforts.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $90,000-$115,000.
