Job description

We're looking for a world-class Producer to lead the conception, design, and execution of NODE's full programming slate: exhibits, events, and the program initiatives that define what NODE is becoming. You'll work at the intersection of art, design, and technology while partnering with artists, engineers, and fabricators to turn ambitious ideas into reality.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of NODE's physical activations, exhibitions, and performances—from concept through execution
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and logistics for installations and live events
  • Coordinate across internal teams (design, engineering, fabrication, marketing) and external vendors
  • Maintain high aesthetic and technical standards across all experiences
  • Support visiting artists and partners with production needs, documentation, and installation
  • Ensure flawless on-site delivery during openings, previews, and private events
  • Develop and steward NODE's programming slate beyond exhibitions, including residencies, public programming, and experimental formats defining the future of how digital art is experienced
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of professional experience producing large-scale events, exhibitions, or installations
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple creative and technical disciplines
  • Deep familiarity with production workflows, budgets, and fabrication logistics
  • Excellent communication and vendor management skills
  • Strong visual literacy and sensitivity to artistic intent
  • Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
  • Experience in art, design, architecture, or live events preferred

Competitive salary range depending on experience. Annual performance-based bonus.

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Access to NODE's cultural events, artist programs, and private previews
  • Opportunities for creative collaboration and professional growth within a world-class art and technology environment
About NODE

NODE is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to transforming how digital art is experienced. NODE is both an idea and a place – built with artists, by artists, and for artists.

NODE is the antidote to sterile galleries and stagnant institutions. NODE is part exhibition space, part learning lab, part cultural engine—designed to give digital art a home that matches its energy and potential. It challenges how we think about art, who gets to create it, and how we engage with it. It celebrates code as culture, and believes the future of art is collaborative, alive, and always evolving.

From Palo Alto to every connected device worldwide, NODE brings together a network of creators who understand that art has the power to bring us closer. We host experiences that evolve and deepen as more people engage. We create spaces – both physical and digital – that invite interaction, experimentation, and dialogue. We partner directly with artists to protect and preserve their code and creative legacy. We collaborate with universities and forward-looking institutions to nurture and inspire the next generation of digital creators. Because it takes a network to make art work.
