Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Texas is seeking a warehouse associate to receive and put away inbound produce. You will operate a stand-up forklift, ensure proper FIFO rotation, and maintain safe, clean work areas.

Candidate should have at least 6 months warehouse experience, basic knowledge of produce, and ability to read/write English. This role supports 1st shift starting at 6am and involves physical duties with forklifts and RF scanners.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with stand-up forklift and RF scanners preferred.
• Basic knowledge of fresh produce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives and puts away all inbound produce.
• Ensures product is rotated (FIFO) and pallets are clear of tape/packaging.
• Operates powered industrial equipment safely.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work area.
• Accounts for received product and assists with replenishment as needed.
