Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service with product knowledge and a friendly attitude in our Fresh departments. You will be part of a fast-paced team, stocking, merchandising, and ensuring displays meet quality and safety standards.

This role emphasizes helping customers, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting multiple departments to keep operations running smoothly. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, helpful customer service and share product knowledge.
• Help customers locate items and answer questions across Fresh departments.
• Maintain clean, appealing displays and restock shelves as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to company standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with teammates across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.
