Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to enhance the in-store experience across Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and maintain appealing displays while stocking and rotating goods to standards.

You will use store technology, follow food safety procedures, and collaborate across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery. This role supports store operations daily and helps customers find what they need.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
• Willingness to be physically active, including lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
• Previous retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
