Job summary

Buehler's Fresh Foods is seeking a part-time Produce Clerk in the Produce Department. Primary duties include receiving trucks, stocking, merchandising, pricing, displays, and assisting customers during store hours.

Responsibilities also cover organizing the cooler, sanitation, trimming, wrapping, and incidental prep as needed, with availability for 20-30 hours weekly including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Produce experience preferred but not required.
• Physical demands include repetitive lifting up to 50 lb and occasional up to 100 lb.

• Meet truck, receive load and organize cooler.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays; assist customers as needed.
• Price items and maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department.
• Assist with other tasks and incidental prep as assigned.

Job description

PRODUCE SUPPORT: Hourly Produce Clerk working in the Produce Department. This person's primary duties include meeting the truck, receiving the load, organizing the cooler, sanitation, housekeeping, trimming, packaging, working the sales floor, stocking, rotating, pricing, merchandising, building displays, and providing other customer assistance when needed.Additional responsibilities include stocking the preparation of perishable and non-perishable merchandise for sale prior to and during regular store hours. Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned including incidental prep. work, traying, wrapping, moving stock from the cooler to the salesfloor, special orders, and re-wraps.

1. Availability: Must be available to be scheduled between 20-30hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
2. Previous Work Experience: Produce experience preferred, but not required.
3. Physical Demands: repetitive lifting to 50#; occasional lifting to 100#.

Other Work Considerations: Able to work with minimal supervision; prioritize tasks; reliable, dependable.
