Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring a part-time Produce Stocker in New Roads, LA. You will maintain fresh produce and floral displays, rotate stock, and assist customers with friendly service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include operating a pallet jack, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace following company policies and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Ability to operate pallet jack and safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains full stock on produce and floral displays.
• Operates pallet jack to unload and reload trucks.
• Rotates stock and discards dated product as needed.
• Checks product quality and upholds food safety standards.
• Assists customers with questions and shopping needs.
• Keeps work and shopping areas clean, safe and sanitary.
