Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot in Alsip, IL is seeking a Stocker - Produce to provide prompt customer service, stock shelves, and keep the warehouse clean and safe. This role supports the Produce department and works with the Produce Manager to ensure accurate pricing and proper product rotation.

You will handle palletized goods, open boxes, front-face items, and assist Hi-Lo operators to maintain a stocked selling floor. The position requires physical stamina, cold work, and HACCP adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, opens boxes, and restocks shelves.
• Organizes and front faces items on shelves.
• Performs HACCP inspections and adheres to safety standards.
• Supports inventory rotation to prevent shrinkage and damage.
• Ensures shelf pricing is correct and up-to-date.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness and safety, including spills and trash.
• Assists Hi-Lo operators to keep the selling floor stocked and safe.
• Notifies supervisors of low stock or out‑of‑stock items.
