Job summary

The GIANT Company in Hanover, PA is seeking a team member to check inventory daily, remove out-of-date items, load pallets into coolers, stock and restock items, and maintain displays. This role supports a fast-paced grocery operation across PA, MD, NJ, and surrounding areas.

Candidates should be able to perform physical tasks, adhere to safety and dress code policies, and complete a 60-day probationary period.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand to perform duties and follow policies.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools for this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely and in accordance with safety rules.
• Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must wear proper assigned clothes and shoes for the job.
• Must have and maintain any required licenses, certificates, or permits for the position.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule at shift start, verify equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties.
• Follow directions from department leadership and adhere to PPE and safety requirements.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, equipment, and display areas.
