Position Summary: The Produce Specialist Selector is responsible for reworking produce being shipped and received into/from the warehouse, ensuring that our high-quality standards are met. This associate also ensures all food safety procedures and GMPs are being followed.

What you’ll do:

  • Inspects all incoming/outgoing produce for defects.
  • Exercises judgment when conducting audits to ensure all product meets our high-quality standard.
  • Culls/trims/repacks produce to meet presentation and quality guidelines.
  • Conducts routine audits to ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are practiced.
  • Maintains all paperwork in an accurate, orderly fashion and communicates any issues.
  • Pick and Audit Produce Orders
  • Assists other departments as needed.

About you:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Works with Quality Assurance Team to ensure specific Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed.
  • Employee shall adhere to all company food safety policies, procedures, and trainings.
  • 2 years of previous quality control experience with produce.
  • Quality control experience in a produce warehouse ispreferred.
  • Electric Pallet Jack Experience / Reach truck experience is a plus
