Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking to maintain and operate the produce department at the Petoskey location. You will trim, prepare, weigh, package, and label fresh produce, assist with unloading deliveries, and ensure the department is clean, well-stocked, and merchandised to company standards.

You’ll follow PPE and food safety guidelines, assist customers with product knowledge, and perform other duties as assigned to support the store’s daily operations.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with ability to read and follow instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills for pricing and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate the produce department.
• Trim, cull, and prepare produce according to standards.
• Weigh, package, and label products.
• Unload deliveries and stock coolers and displays.
• Practice suggestive selling with customers.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
