Sam’s West, Inc. is seeking an in-store Team Member to support the produce department, ensuring quality, freshness, and availability for members. You will greet customers, stock shelves, and answer questions while maintaining a clean, member-ready area.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: maintain knowledge of products, assist with cross-functional tasks, educate associates on tools and tasks, communicate effectively, stay flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: understand product quality requirements, prepare and package produce to standards, ensure product safety and sanitation compliance, follow laws and company policies.
• Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales and improve shopper experience, operate handheld devices for decisions related to production and training, adapt to new tools.
• Be an Owner: drive area performance, manage inventory, ensure quality and date control, reduce waste, assist customers per policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department and club, demonstrate high-quality service and products, show energy and commitment.
• Complies with policies and ethics; uses Open Door Policy; supports business processes.
