Job summary

You will assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals while upholding our values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. You will answer customer questions, promote products and corporate brands, and ensure items are properly labeled, stocked, and rotated for quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills in daily customer interactions.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Current food handlers permit once employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers in the department and store.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow safety procedures.
• Stock, label, and inventory department merchandise; monitor product freshness and quality.
• Assist with promotions and communicate specials to customers.
• Prepare and present produce platters/trays as needed.
