You’ll assist the department manager in sales and inventory tasks while following safety, quality standards, and company values. Responsibilities include assisting customers, stocking and labeling produce, informing shoppers of specials, and ensuring products

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Current food handler permit required once employed.

Responsibilities

• Role model the 3A’s of Friendly customer service.
• Promote Corporate Brands to customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist in department goals.
• Answer questions about products and respond with product knowledge.
• Prepare, package, label and inventory produce items.
• Inform customers of produce specials and suggest items to meet needs.
• Inspect products for quality and freshness; take corrective action as needed.
• Stock department merchandise and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain temperature logs.
• Support management with safety, cleanliness and customer experience.
