Sam's Club in LUFKIN, TX is seeking a Team Member to support the produce department. You will help ensure quality, freshness, availability, and great service for members while working with cross-functional teams and maintaining stocked, clean displays.

You’ll learn produce knowledge, use digital tools to improve the shopping experience, and contribute to a high-energy, member-focused team committed to selling quality produce at low cost.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Willingness to learn and follow policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: knowledge of products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and tasks, communicate effectively, be flexible to work in other areas, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: understand quality processes for produce, prepare items to standards, maintain product safety and sanitation, follow laws and company policies.
• Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, use handheld tech to support decisions and train others.
• Be an Owner: drive area performance, use inventory techniques to stock and rotate products, ensure date control and reduce waste, assist customers per policy.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department, model high-quality service, follow ethics and Open Door Policy, collaborate with managers and coworkers to meet priorities.
