Job summary

You will greet customers, answer questions, stock and label merchandise, and help maintain product quality and freshness while following safety procedures and policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Current food handlers permit once employed.

• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Ensure proper temperatures and maintain logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and identify unsafe conditions.
• Practice preventive maintenance and report needed repairs.
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks.
• Report all safety issues and illegal activity to store management.
• Work cooperatively in high paced environments.
• Manage conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help when necessary.
