Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Current food handler permit once employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with questions about products.
• Promote Corporate Brands to customers.
• Assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals.
• Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries and suggestions.
• Prepare produce platters/trays and label inventories.
• Review products for quality and freshness and take action as needed.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Maintain proper temperature in cases and coolers and track logs.
• Support safety programs and report unsafe conditions to management.
