Food Lion in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a Produce Department team member to deliver excellent customer service and maintain department standards. You will assist with ordering, receiving, preparing, and displaying merchandise, while adhering to safety and company guidelines.

The role requires the ability to work with various tasks, learn store systems (ACIS/CAO), and maintain a neat, compliant work environment. Shift flexibility and a strong teamwork mindset are valued.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations

Responsabilidades

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Produce Department to create a positive shopping experience.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise follows policies and guidelines.
• Unload trucks for the Produce Department.
• Understand and use ACIS and CAO systems for inventory and ordering.
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies and standard practices.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions to protect associates and customers.
• Report all accidents to the Manager on Duty.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with apron and name badge on duty.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
