Hunger Mountain Co-op in Montpelier, VT is seeking a Produce Assistant Buyer & Receiver for a part-time position. The role supports the Produce Buyer in meeting department goals by assisting with buying, receiving, merchandising, and general stock duties.

This schedule runs Friday and Saturday from 6:00am to 2:00pm and totals 16 hours per week. You will follow department policies, help manage inventory, process deliveries, update POS data, and assist customers with produce needs.

Formación

• Prior retail produce experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in a cold environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Buyer's day-to-day orders from established suppliers.
• Receive deliveries and check quality and accuracy with proper rotation.
• Maintain product signage, pricing, and POS data updates.
• Restock displays and assist customers with produce needs.
• Perform general produce maintenance and attend required meetings.
