Whole Foods Market, Inc. is seeking a Produce team member to assist with replenishment, ordering, and merchandising at our Newton, MA location. You will monitor inventory, support promotional displays, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include timely purchases, accurate orders, customer service, and collaborating with leadership to meet sales targets. The role requires a flexible schedule and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Purchases and replenishes produce through proper buying procedures.
• Monitors and acts upon open PO reports for purchases and credits.
• Controls spoilage and shrink, achieves turn goals, participates in inventory.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Maximizes sales potential through stocking and merchandising.
• Ensures orders for product are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns.
• Oversees customer special order procedure.
• Analyzes and controls product transfers, waste, and spoilage.
• Supports leadership in inventories.
• Maintains profitability by meeting purchasing and sales targets.
• Arrives on time and participates in trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers phones promptly.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains clean and sanitary environment; operates with WFM standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accurate pricing.
