Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Produce Associate to maintain stock levels and preserve product quality in our produce and floral areas. You will work with produce staff to support department sales, profits and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include inventory management, order accuracy, and assisting with display presentation while following safety standards and company policies. This role requires reliability, teamwork, and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED and 1+ year related experience, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and basic equipment.
• Knowledge of produce department operations and inventory processes.
• Commitment to food safety standards and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop partners, schedule, plan, assign, and direct work with upper management.
• Co-manage inventory using item management processes to maintain in-stock levels.
• Review sales, ads and promotions data to support performance and labor planning.
• Promote product sales through attractive displays and suggestive selling.
• Inspect products for quality and safety, and ensure compliance with labeling requirements.
