Job summary

Responsibilities include cutting fruits and vegetables, maintaining quality, supporting sampling programs, and keeping the department clean and organized while adhering to safety rules. No prior retail experience is required. The wage range is $16.00-$25.40 per hour with Whole Benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Cuts fruits and vegetables following safety and sanitation rules.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Keeps department clean and logs sweeps.
• Arrives on time and is ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling when appropriate.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, safety, and sanitation procedures and WFM standards.
• Maintains a clean working/shopping environment and equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures accurate pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
