Job summary

Buehler's Fresh Foods in Orrville, OH is seeking a Produce Manager Trainee (Full Time). This Hourly Lead Person will oversee the Produce department operations during the training program and will be placed permanently after training.

You will work with both full-time and part-time staff, handling ordering, receiving, rotation, cooler organization, sanitation, and housekeeping, plus scheduling and performance reviews. Travel to Medina and other Wayne County stores for training may be required.

Qualifications

• Availability to be scheduled 35+ hours per week, including nights and weekends.
• Previous produce prep, merchandising, and sales floor experience required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly and up to 80 lb occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running the Produce department during training and supervise backroom and production.
• Coordinate with full-time and part-time staff; handle scheduling and employee relations as needed.
• Order, receive, check-in perishable and non-perishable stock and rotate inventory; maintain cooler and sanitation.
• Travel to different Buehler's locations for training.
• Provide customer service on the sales floor.
