Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Produce Manager to oversee the produce department, focusing on inventory management, product quality, and merchandising to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

You will lead a team in a fast-paced distribution setting, maintaining freshness, overseeing stock control, and ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in produce, grocery, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, product rotation, and stock management.
• Ability to identify product quality issues and ensure proper handling standards.
• Experience leading or overseeing team operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the produce department to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper stock control, rotation, and replenishment practices.
• Ensure all produce is handled, stored, and displayed in accordance with company and food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items.
• Supervise and support department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and operational standards.
• Coordinate merchandising, signage, and product displays to support sales and customer engagement.
• Review inventory trends, shrink, and discrepancies to identify and address areas of concern.
• Support receiving processes by ensuring incoming product is properly checked for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain overall department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with applicable regulations.
