Queen’s Price Chopper is seeking a Produce Manager to lead a team and ensure the freshness and display of produce. You will manage a crew of 6 to 10, order, schedule and maintain safety and sanitation standards, and drive sales of fresh vegetables and fruit.

Responsibilities include merchandising, rotating stock, training staff, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced, cold environment. This full-time role requires flexibility with evenings, weekends and holidays.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Prior management experience preferred but not required.
• Produce knowledge and customer service skills are essential.

• Maintain a neat, well groomed personal appearance and observe dress regulations.
• Greet customers and provide prompt and courteous service.
• Know seasonality, use and taste of products offered.
• Observe shift operating hours as scheduled by department manager.

• Display merchandise in an attractive, appealing and neat manner.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with store policy and health regulations.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Able to exert or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and exert or lift negligible amounts of weight often.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Full-time.

The primary purpose of the Produce Manager is to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, gaining product knowledge, rotation of product, merchandising and controlling shrink, Managing a crew of 6 to 10. The Produce Manager is to establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers and employees to return. The Produce Manager is responsible for all fresh and packaged vegetables and fruit, generating sales, merchandising product, Ordering, making schedules, and managing crew.

Duties and Responsibilities

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
