Job summary

PAY-AND-SAVE, INC. seeks a Produce Clerk to assist the Produce Manager in all aspects of the produce department, delivering friendly service and supporting a learning environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, pricing, signage, and daily merchandising while upholding Lowe's standards and policies. You will interact with customers and teammates to sustain a safe, clean, and well-organized department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of various types of produce products.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Good customer relations skills.
• Ability to calculate gross margins and retail prices.
• Ability to manage effectively.

Responsibilities

• Control damaged, spoiled or out-of-date products and dispose of them per policy.
• Coordinate with Produce Manager.
• Receive, price, mark and restock with proper rotation.
• Follow department merchandising plan.
• Assist in training department teammates.
• Maintain signs, pricing, refrigerated cases and display shelves.
• Comply with company policies, programs and guidelines.
• Maintain a safe work environment for teammates and customers.
• Interact with customers regularly.
• Ensure teammates understand Lowe's expectations.
• Identify root causes of issues and inefficiencies.
