Qualifications

• Experience in produce, grocery, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of product handling, rotation, and stock management.
• Ability to maintain freshness and identify quality issues.
• Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with Excel or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the produce department to ensure availability, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through stock control and product rotation.
• Ensure all produce is handled, stored, and displayed per company and food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, timely removal of unsellable items.
• Supervise and support department staff to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Assist with merchandising, signage, and product displays to maintain an organized department.
• Support receiving processes by verifying incoming product for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with policies.
