Chedraui USA in El Cajon, CA is seeking a Produce Lead (Full-Time) to manage the produce department, ensure freshness, and execute merchandising programs across all hours, including weekends. The role reports to the Store Manager and partners with the Perishables Manager to keep the department properly staffed and trained.

• Minimum three years store operations experience, two years in produce responsibilities.
• Experience with merchandising a produce department is desirable.
• Retail management or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Present the produce assortment and adjust as necessary for size, display capabilities and product mix.
• Provide hands-on training for associates in product display, rotation, and order quantities.
• Assess incoming product quality and escalate issues to Perishables Manager or regional specialist.
• Maintain in-store displays/fixtures to meet company standards and adjust as needed.
• Set up the produce section and ensure adherence to perishable programs.
• Place store produce orders based on marketing plans, seasonality, customer mix, and historical performance.
