PRODUCE/LEAD CLERK (Finance)



Create outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and fresh environment that encourages customers to return. Achieve sales and profit goals for the department, and monitor all quality assurance standards. Direct and supervise all functions and activities for the Produce department. Support daily operations and promote the Customer 1st strategy, encouraging associates to deliver excellent customer service. Minimum qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Current food handler permit upon employment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Management experience
  • Produce department experience

Additional responsibilities include adhering to all safety and food safety regulations, promoting trust among staff, establishing performance goals, managing scheduling, training staff, maintaining product quality and freshness, implementing merchandising plans, controlling expenses, monitoring inventory, ensuring proper temperature maintenance, and practicing safety procedures. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
