Job summary

The GIANT Company in Pottsville, PA is hiring a store team member to help keep shelves stocked, check inventory daily, remove out-of-date items, load pallets into coolers, select, stock, and restock items, and maintain displays.

You will follow department directions, prepare for shifts with PPE and safety compliance, and work as part of a team to serve customers and the community. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
• Must have and maintain valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare required equipment and supplies.
• Follow directions from department leadership.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
