Qualifications include 3 years of progressive experience or a 4-year degree, with duties spanning problem identification, planning, and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3 years of general progressively responsible experience, with duties at or above GS-4 level.
• Experience in quality assurance, commodity buying, farm management, or food processing lab work.
• Education or combinations thereof acceptable: 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• General clerical experience not creditable.

Responsibilities

• Grade or inspect product using grading standards and regulations.
• Draw samples of product.
• Identify and describe common product defects and/or diseases.
