Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd is seeking Produce Clerks to stock and rotate merchandise in the produce and floral department, ensuring fresh, high-quality offerings. Position requires lifting up to 70 pounds, and evening/weekend availability is strongly preferred.

Hourly pay starts from $17.90 with a $2.00 premium, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered. This is an on-island role with no relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass Math Test.
• Must be able to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass TB Clearance.
• Grocery retail, customer service, and cash handling experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate merchandise in the produce and floral department.
• Trim, water, and merchandise produce to ensure freshness.
• Maintain inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability.
• Answer questions from customers about produce and floral products.
• Help increase sales by handing out food samples and by recommending additional items to customers.
