Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd is seeking a Produce Clerk on the island to stock, rotate and merchandise produce and floral items for fresh, high-quality offerings. You will assist customers, manage inventory, and help drive sales by offering samples and recommending products.

Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred; relocation is not offered. This is an hourly position with a comprehensive benefits package varying by role and classification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass Math Test.
• Grocery retail, customer service, and cash handling experience helpful.
• Must have TB Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate merchandise in the produce and floral department, including trimming and watering.
• Merchandise products to ensure fresh, high-quality offerings and assist with inventory control.
• Answer questions from customers about produce and floral products and promote samples.
• Suggest additional items to customers to increase sales.
