Job summary

As a key team member, you will answer questions, promote products, prepare and stock items, monitor quality and temperatures, and support colleagues to ensure a welcoming store

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Current food handlers permit once employed.

Responsibilities

• Role model the 3A’s of Friendly: acknowledge, assist and appreciate customers.
• Promote Corporate Brands to customers.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and valued by answering product questions.
• Gain knowledge of department products and suggest items to customers.
• Assist with produce platters/trays preparation.
• Inform customers of produce specials.
• Recommend items to ensure customers get what they want.
• Prepare, package, label and inventory department merchandise.
• Review product quality and freshness and take action as needed.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
