Responsibilities

• Model the Friendly 3A’s: acknowledge, assist and appreciate customers.
• Promote store brands to customers.
• Maintain a welcoming environment for customers and answer product questions.
• Know products in the department and make suggestions.
• Assist with produce platters and inform customers of specials.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude and stay current with ads.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and logs are maintained.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
