Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Seattle is seeking a Produce Helper Clerk to deliver friendly, professional service while maintaining attractive produce displays and rotating stock. You will unload and organize incoming pallets and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met across the department.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform excellent, professional customer service.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking and communication skills.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
• Retail experience preferred; background in produce preferred.
• Must meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, lifting 10–40lbs regularly.
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Dept. of Health is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent, professional customer service.
• Builds and maintains produce displays and rotates produce in back stock and sales floor.
• Updates price changes and signage.
• Unloads and organizes incoming pallets of produce.
• Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Operates all equipment in accordance with PCC standards.
