Product Development and Production Manager

Boulder, CO - In Office

About Raide

Raide exists to elevate human-powered movement in the mountains. We design and build the highest-performing and most functional equipment and apparel for ski touring and running.

We are one of the fastest-growing brands in outdoor sports by defying industry norms and holding an uncompromising bar across product, storytelling, and how we operate internally. This is a rare opportunity to help build a generational brand from the ground up — where everything you create directly shapes how athletes experience the mountains.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Product Development & Production Manager to help bring every Raide product from concept to production. This role will work alongside our Design Director, Founder/CEO, external contractors and factory partners to ensure every product meets Raide's uncompromising standards for performance, quality and excellence. Our athlete team will view you as a trusted partner who understands their goals, values their feedback, and is relentless about turning their experience into better equipment on the mountain.

This role sits at the centre of the product creation process. You'll manage the details, solve problems before they become problems, and keep the product moving from first prototype to finished production.

You'll be equally comfortable reviewing a fit sample, discussing construction with a factory in Vietnam, updating a BOM, or finding a better way to build our next pack.

If you are someone who can sweat the details of complex product projects with the same amount of stoke that you find on the mountains, you will probably love this role.

Responsibilities

Material Development
  • Identify opportunities for material innovation in partnership with the Design Director and supplier network
  • Manage custom material and trim development projects from concept through commercialization
  • Coordinate material sourcing, sampling, testing, and approvals throughout the development process
  • Ensure materials are available and delivered on time to support prototype, wear test, and production milestones
Factory Partnership
  • Build strong relationships with factory partners across Asia
  • Communicate diligently with manufacturers throughout development
  • Troubleshoot development and production challenges
