Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and meet job requirements.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements, with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise follows policies and guidelines
• Unload trucks for the Produce Department
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO
• Maintain understanding of and adherence to company guidelines and safety procedures
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions
• Report accidents per Food Lion procedures
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations
• Wear Food Lion uniform with apron and name badge
• Complete CBT and training courses
• Perform other duties as assigned
