• Manage the Produce Department, including hiring, training and developing department associates
• Supervise the performance of department duties and provide ongoing performance management
• Daily management of labor and coaching to achieve productivity
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with company values
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results
• Maintain a positive, friendly customer service environment
• Ensure department appearance, quality, and safety standards
• Coordinate with scheduling, ordering, and inventory systems
• Manage safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
• Record and report accidents and monitor shrinkage
