• Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume
• Train and develop associates on their job performance
• Create welcoming environment and assist customers with products
• Inform customers of produce specials and offer samples
• Review products for quality and freshness
• Develop and implement a department business plan
• Create and execute in-store promotions with store management
• Educate associates about promotions
• Prepare seasonal critiques for the supervisor
• Implement the department promotional plan
• Assist management with budget, expenses, and financial reports
• Schedule price changes and maintain shelf tags
• Plan and organize inventory and CAO processes
• Maintain proper temperatures and logs
• Reinforce safety programs and report issues
• Report safety risks or illegal activity
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
• Resolve conflicts professionally
• Handle customer and business information with integrity
• Follow directions and seek help as needed
