Job summary

Schnucks in Missouri is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager for a full-time, union position. This role supports the Produce Department, stepping in for the Department Manager as needed, and leading a team to maintain safety, stock, and presentation standards while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with problem-solving skills, flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and the ability to interpret instructions and manage daily production

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of relevant experience.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Hours may range from 6am-10pm.
• Internal candidates: store teammates require six months; store support center teammates require one year.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety guidelines in the Produce Department.
• Assign duties and train teammates.
• Pull and rotate product and straighten displays.
• Ensure department standards are met.
• Write orders and set up daily production timeline.
• Provide friendly service in person and on the phone.
• Receive and stock orders.
• Follow sanitation procedures.
• Assume Department Manager responsibilities in their absence.
