Job summary

ShopRite of Freehold is seeking a Produce Manager to direct and supervise all functions of the Produce Department and its Associates, aiming to achieve sales, profit, and Customer Experience goals under the General Store Manager.

You will lead Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, and Efficiency initiatives, train onboarding of new staff, uphold food safety standards, and ensure department operations meet policy and regulatory requirements across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and occasionally 60 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and with cleaning agents.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Produce Department.
• Lead and engage Associates to achieve department goals.
• Ensure safety, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and promote promotions.
• Train onboarding of new department staff and provide feedback and development.
