Job summary

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is seeking a Produce Manager to oversee all aspects of the Produce department in a retail setting. You will ensure proper preparation, maintain freshness, and provide customer service while coordinating staff and daily operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, is in a fast-paced environment, and involves customer interactions, inventory control, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school / Secondary school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age to operate machinery
• Possesses a food handling license

Responsibilities

• Greets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact.
• Supervises and recommends disciplinary action for associates in department.
• Responsible for work schedules, assigning work, training, enforcing Company policies and SOP’s, productivity and communication with associates.
• Responsible for the processing of invoices, department reports, employee appraisals, inventory and supply ordering.
• Performs basic cleaning of department, hourly checks of produce floor to complete sweep & mop log
• Stocks and rotates produce items, while trimming items to maintain freshness and quality
• Removes damaged items from produce floor and records weight of damages for tracking
• Fulfills fruit basket orders, blows up balloons, adds ice to and cuts fruit to display in section
