Job summary

Kroger Mount Pleasant is seeking an enthusiastic Produce Department Supervisor to lead daily operations in our Mount Pleasant, WI store. You will oversee staging, inventory, pricing accuracy, and customer service to ensure fresh, safe produce and a premium shopping experience.

Responsibilities include directing department activities, training teammates, maintaining quality standards, and achieving sales goals while upholding Kroger's customer-first values and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Current food handlers permit once employed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, safety and food safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Communicate company, department, and job specific information to associates.
• Establish performance goals for department and empower associates to meet or exceed targets through collaboration and teamwork.
• Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume throughout hours of operation.
• Train and develop associates on performance of their job including inventory and stocking concepts.
• Create an welcoming environment and assist customers with questions and product recommendations.
• Inform customers of produce specials and ensure quality and freshness of items.
• Review/inspect products and take action to ensure stock meets standards.
• Ensure proper temperatures and logs in cases and coolers; monitor inventory and price integrity.
• Assist in inventory processes and support department budget and safety programs.
