Job summary

Jetro / Restaurant Depot is seeking a Produce Manager to oversee all aspects of the Produce Department, including staff supervision, inventory control, vendor coordination and ensuring high standards of customer service. The role requires leadership in scheduling, training, and maintaining compliance with HACCP regulations.

Responsibilities include managing product placement, pricing, displays, and department cleanliness while optimizing shrink and spoilage control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or HS Diploma/GED with 4+ years in customer service.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business materials.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills for handling sensitive situations and customers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department activities to ensure proper product placement, pricing and displays.
• Develop schedules and monitor performance, disciplining as needed.
• Train staff in job responsibilities and safety procedures.
• Hire and interview candidates for the department.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and audits are conducted.
• Manage inventory, orders and relationships with vendors.
• Maintain department appearance and shelving standards.
