Full-Time or Part-Time

The primary purpose of the Cut Fruit Crew Member is to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, safe food handling, accurate preparation of fresh-cut fruit, and appealing product presentation. This position involves preparing, packaging, and merchandising cut fruit while maintaining freshness, safety, and quality standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in product presentation and works cleanly, quickly, and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Observe all store rules and company policies.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance and observe dress code.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Understand the use, ripeness, and quality indicators for fresh fruit.
• Prep and package cut fruit according to store recipes and portioning guidelines.
• Maintain clean and sanitary food prep stations and equipment.
• Keep displays stocked, rotated, and attractively merchandised.
• Ensure general housekeeping and sanitation standards are met.
• Follow food safety and handling protocols, including storage and labeling.
• Work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; handle lighter weights frequently.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Food handling or prep experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and handle sharp tools like knives and slicers.
• Comfortable working around fresh produce and perishable food.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
