You’ll work in a fast-paced grocery setting, following sanitation guidelines and supporting the Produce Department to keep shelves inviting. Night and weekend shifts are required, with hourly wage starting at $11.50–$14.40 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to perform basic math and count accurately.
• Strong focus on customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist their needs
• Review merchandise for freshness and rotate stock
• Maintain adequate product supply and prepare orders
• Check in product, stock shelves, and review invoices
• Prepare, finish, and replenish items as needed
• Follow sanitation procedures and keep area clean and safe
• Remove trash and help with department upkeep
• Order product and price items for customers
• Answer calls and provide friendly service
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and department guidelines
• Assist with other tasks or projects as needed
