Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Produce Clerk to stock, merchandize, and maintain high product standards in the Produce Department. You will help customers make healthy choices, answer questions, and keep displays fresh and organized in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Training emphasizes safety, teamwork, and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
• Good communication and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Ability to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs., for extended periods; push/pull carts up to 20 lbs.
• Walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift and comply with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Stock and merchandise the Produce Department according to schematics and pricing.
• Provide high levels of customer service and product knowledge.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure freshness of produce.
• Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Follow safety guidelines and adhere to company policies.
