Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Current food handlers permit once employed.
• Desired: Comparable Retail experience.
• Desired: Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing).

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department.
• Monitor all established quality assurance standards and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Promote Corporate Brands to customers and respond to product questions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and assist with produce platters/trays as needed.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise and report discrepancies.
